Yisrael Gershtnkoren
Yisrael Gershtnkoren was born in Bnei Brak, Israel in 1977. Yisrael is an artist through and through. In addition to being a gifted scribe, who writes Torah scrolls and mezuzos, he is a professional silversmith, who crafts exquisite, ornate religious articles made of pure silver. He has produced dozens of silver articles, each one unique and extraordinary.
Despite his young age, Yisrael has succeeded in reaching an unmatched level of expertise and originality in silver design. Upon completing his studies in 2007, he gradually began creating his own silver pieces, until he was able to develop his own techniques.
Each of Yisrael's creations is invested with a great deal of thought and planning. His individual style integrates antique motifs with an up-to-date, modern design, for a truly striking product. Each article is completed to a high standard, and coated with rodium and pure gold, giving it an exclusive, refined look, and bringing it to the next level of beauty and perfection.
Yisrael finds tremendous satisfaction in his work, which provides him with a virtually endless outlet for his creativity and inspiration.
